Our family decided that we wanted to help our city’s homeless dogs however we could so we became foster parents for Good Dog Rescue. The Costrino Halfway House for Wayward Dogs began with a Memphis Animal Services stray that was in terrible shape. Rufus could not even eat because his lips had been injured and become so infected.

Good news though! I just checked and Good Dog Rescue just added Rufus on petfinder.com! He is such a sweetie and when he does find his forever home Bella is going to be so upset.

I'm available for adoption!

Jesse just planned a trip for us next month to go skiing at a place called Holiday Valley in New York. We are going to meet up with his parents, brother, and sister. We have not seen them all since last summer. It should be a blast.

My Southern self is most likely going to smash against a fireplace for the duration of the trip. I refused to go unless our little dog Bella got to go too since she also despises cold.  Maya, our 70lb dog, will not be able to attend since she gets carsick and would have trouble squeezing under those tiny airline seats. I can’t wait to tell Koko the big news tomorrow!
